Stunning Georgean townhouse
Built around 1830, as the vicarage to St Mary’s Church, we were lucky enough to purchase this great building in 2015, and over a two year period restored, and converted it to 8 generous two bedroom apartments. All the apartments have dual aspect, and face the church, and surrounding grounds. The immediate area is pedestrianised, so it feels like a village within the city.

Kayes Walk, whose name was taken from the Reverend Sir Richard Kaye, was constructed in the early part of the 19th century to provide a northern enclosure around St Mary’s Church. The mansions to the side of Kayes Walk once provided homes to some of Nottingham’s illustrious families, many of whom were associated with the city’s lace-making and knitting trades. One being William Trentham, a partner in the Trentham, Tierney & Morton company, who, as part of the Luddite rebellion, was shot entering his home on Kayes Walk on the 27th April 1812. He survived the assassination attempt.
The stunning Georgian townhouse offers 8 attractive two bedroom apartments in the Lace Market, offering the perfect blend of heritage charm and contemporary comfort.
